About

What You Need to Know About Attorney Terry Grandison
My name is Terry Grandison, and I am the principal of Grandison Law, LLC. With more than 25 years of trial, litigation, transactional, and government relations experience, I have represented various clients who needed help with their legal matters. My practice focuses on personal injury, premises liability, social security disability, and local government law.
Aside from providing legal services in business law, I litigate cases before administrative tribunals and state and federal courts in Georgia. Having the purpose of being a strong voice and tenacious advocate for people who need someone on their side during tough times led me to become a lawyer. As such, my legal and legislative career started when I worked in a national veterans service organization in Washington, D.C.
While in Washington, D.C., I advocated on behalf of the nation’s disabled veterans to ensure that they received the health care benefits, housing, and monetary compensation they earned as a result of their military service. As a well-respected attorney in Atlanta, GA, I bring that same focused advocacy and energy in getting the most favorable results for my clients who have sustained personal injuries and/or disabilities.
Having served in the Office of the Fulton County Attorney for 11 years, I am well versed in local government law. As an Associate County Attorney, I handled the following litigation and transactional matters:
- Public Safety Issues
- Personal Injuries
- Contracts
- Procurement
- Construction
- Real Estate Acquisition and Sale of County-Owned Property
- Drafting and Review of Multi-Million Dollar Commercial Leases
- Drafting of Airport Ground Leases (Fulton County Airport)
In addition, I represented Fulton County Government in personnel administrative and arbitration hearings. My representation also included an active appellate practice. As a result, I have submitted appellate briefs and/or argued before the Fulton County Superior Court on Writs of Certiorari, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
